Upgrading Mob.net server

Upgrading the mob.net server is a fun thing to do during a spare weekend. In fact it should be done at least once or twice a month as it's a great learning experience and a good excuse to stay up late. Below are some websites that help with the installation of the main software that is used.

Rails

This is the hardest thing to install since it has so many dependencies including: mysql, ruby (which needs to include irb and rdoc), apache 2.0 and fcgid.
